Gang of Youths Attack Rival with Knives on Jomtien Beach, Leaving One Seriously Injured

A large gang of young people in Pattaya attacked rivals with knives on Jomtien Beach, leaving an 18-year-old man severely injured.

At 1:46 AM on October 29th, Pattaya police received a report of a violent fight along Jomtien Beach Road, near Jomtien Soi 12. Upon receiving the report, officers quickly rushed to the scene with rescue volunteers and The Pattaya News team.

There, a group of over ten teenagers, aged around 16 to 19, were in a state of panic. They were taking care of their seriously injured friend, identified only as Mr. Nattapon, who was lying on the sidewalk with a head injury and several cuts on his right arm and ankle. Rescue workers provided first aid before rapidly transporting him to the hospital.

Police found scattered pieces of a broom handle and blood stains on the ground. Mr. Nattapon claimed to police that he previously had a dispute with the Baan Chang gang and noticed them riding around Jomtien Beach. When they saw him sitting, they approached and asked if he had a problem with them. They then assaulted him using a broom and a curved knife, resulting in his injuries.

Pattaya police are trying to identify the suspects via surveillance footage along the route where they fled.

It was reported that the violent gang known as the Baan Chang gang has a history of violence and has caused significant distress to the local community. They have been apprehended multiple times but have shown no remorse and continue to harm others. Authorities have been urged to take decisive action to eliminate these alleged delinquents from Pattaya.
