Pattaya —
A 42-year-old Thai security guard collapsed from exhaustion and fell off his motorcycle in South Pattaya.
At 9:00 PM on October 27th, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center was alerted to an unconscious man lying along the road by Wat Thammasamakkee in South Pattaya. Rescue workers, medical personnel from Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, and The Pattaya News reporters immediately traveled to the scene.
Upon arrival, they found Mr. Woraphon, a 42-year-old security guard, lying face down on the road with bleeding from a head wound. A bystander was fanning him before the rescue team arrived to administer first aid and provide oxygen support.
Mr. Woraphon was then urgently transported to a local hospital. Nearby, the rescuers found a grey Honda Wave 125 motorcycle, which belonged to Mr. Woraphon, parked at the scene and handed it over to Pattaya police for safekeeping.
Mr. Saran Inthrasri, a 29-year-old good Samaritan who witnessed the incident, told The Pattaya News that while riding along the road, he noticed the victim lying unconscious with his motorcycle fallen next to him. He immediately called for nearby people to assist and quickly contacted rescue workers.
A coworker of Mr. Woraphon, who arrived at the scene shortly after, revealed that the victim worked as a security guard in Soi Khao Noi. He added that Mr. Woraphon was very diligent and often worked long hours with little rest. He believed that he collapsed due to exhaustion. Fortunately, the victim did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.
