Banglamung Police Station Celebrates Police Day with Merit Making Ceremony

On October 18th, 2024, at Banglamung Police Station’s 4th floor, Pol. Col. Nawin Sinthurat, Superintendent of the Banglamung Police Station, led a religious ceremony to commemorate the founding of the Royal Thai Police. The ceremony, held on National Police Day, was attended by police officers, Mr. Pairoj Prawatlertudom, Chairman of the Police Commission, and Ms. Amporn Kaewsaeng, President of the Pattaya Entertainment and Tourism Industry Association.

Nine monks were invited to chant Buddhist prayers and offer a meal for good fortune, followed by a shared meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere. This merit-making event honored the founders of the Royal Thai Police and police officers who sacrificed their lives for the community. It aimed to build morale and encourage officers to take pride in their duties and careers as peacekeepers.

The celebration concluded with participants wishing a belated happy birthday to Pol. Col. Nawin Sinthurat, who turned 49 on October 8th, 2024, adding to the joy of the occasion.
