Pattaya Tourist Police Prepare to Protect Tourists During High Season

Pattaya Tourist Police ramped up preparations to ensure the safety of tourists during Thailand’s upcoming high season.

On October 9th, 2024, Pol. Col. Man Rothong, Commander of Division 2 of Tourist Police held a meeting to provide guidance to the tourist police. The police were instructed to do as follows:

  • Prepare for a significant increase in foreign tourists, ensure their safety, and build trust among tourists.
  • Accelerate the arrest of individuals committing crimes of all types, especially illegal tours and guides.
  • Strictly follow the law and do not engage in any form of corrupt practices.
  • Fully dedicate themselves to their duties in caring for tourists.
