Frenzied Woman Locks Herself in Pattaya Hotel Bathroom During Eviction, Police Arrest Her

Pattaya —

A woman in Pattaya became frenzied and locked herself in a hotel bathroom. Police found cannabis, unidentified possible drug substances, and a bong at the scene.

On the night of October 4th, Pattaya police received a report about a Thai woman who had locked herself inside a hotel bathroom after refusing to leave the room, despite her rental period having already ended.

Authorities arrived at the scene and spent over 30 minutes trying to unsuccessfully negotiate with the woman. She ignored the officers and continued screaming, shouting, and cursing loudly.

Eventually, the police called in a locksmith to unlock the bathroom door and managed to arrest her. However, the woman, whose identity was not revealed, appeared to be in a frenzied and delirious state. She resisted and rolled on the floor while screaming incoherently. Upon searching the room, officers found a cannabis bong and unidentified substances.

According to the hotel staff, the woman had been staying at the hotel for five days but refused to leave after her rental period ended. She had also reportedly violated several hotel rules, including smoking cannabis in the room. When the staff came to inform her that her rental period had expired, the woman suddenly became frantic and locked herself in the bathroom. Fortunately, authorities were eventually able to get her out safely.

The woman was taken to the police station to calm down while waiting for her relatives to arrive and take her home. It was unclear if she would be tested for illegal drugs. Cannabis is decriminalized in Thailand, notes The Pattaya News.
