Homeless Pedestrian Injured After Being Struck By Sedan Near Pattaya

A homeless pedestrian has sustained injuries after she was hit by a sedan while she was crossing a road in Nongprue.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 10:20 P.M. on Friday (September 27th) on the Sukhumvit Road in the Pattaya area. They and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a homeless woman aged around 40 lying on the road. She had sustained head injuries and some scratches. She was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Nearby, rescue workers found the black sedan involved in the accident. The male Thai driver, who asked not to be named, aged around 60, was waiting at the scene for law enforcement. He told the Pattaya News that the female pedestrian was carrying bags and immediately crossed the road. He was unable to swerve in time and unfortunately struck the woman.
