Banglamung Officials Invite Public to Attend Stroke Prevention Walk

Banglamung District is inviting the public to join the 10th Stroke Prevention Walk on November 2nd to honor the King and promote healthy living.

On September 13th, 2024, the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, in collaboration with the Siriraj Foundation, announced the “10th Stroke Prevention Walk, Run, and Bike Event” to honor His Royal Majesty the King. The event will take place nationwide on November 2nd, 2024.

Mr. Weekit Manarojkit, the Banglamung District Chief, revealed that Banglamung will host the event at the Maprachan Reservoir. Attendees are invited to wear yellow shirts and join the 5-kilometer walk starting at 5:30 PM. Registration is free and can be completed online via this website from now until September 30th, 2024.

The purpose of this activity is not only to honor His Royal Majesty the King but also to raise awareness about stroke prevention. The event will provide educational information about strokes and encourage people of all ages to engage in regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain good health and reduce healthcare costs.
