Takhian Tia, September 11th, 2024 – The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Division of Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality, under the Office of the Permanent Secretary, organized a comprehensive firefighting and safety training project at the Child Development Center.
The event, held at 9:00 a.m., was inaugurated by Mr. Kwanyuen Prakoptham, Deputy Mayor of Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality, representing Mayor Mr. Mitchai Prakoptham.
The training project, part of the fiscal year 2024 initiatives, aims to enhance disaster preparedness and safety awareness among educational personnel and students.
Mr. Sawet Charoenklang, Secretary to the Mayor, outlined the objectives of the project, emphasizing the importance of disaster prevention and safety education. Petty Officer 2nd Class Nuttanan Rattanaroj, Head of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Nong Pla Lai Subdistrict Municipality, along with his team, served as resource persons, providing valuable knowledge and training.
The initiative is designed to continuously equip educational staff and students with the necessary skills to prevent and mitigate various types of disasters, thereby safeguarding lives and property. The Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality recognizes the critical importance of life and safety, especially in light of the increasing frequency of natural disasters and incidents caused by negligence. This project underscores the municipality’s commitment to fostering a safe and prepared community.
