On September 3rd, 2024, at 09:00 AM, Mr. Chatchai Timkrajang, Mayor of Sriracha Municipality, attended a meeting of heads of government agencies and various committees at the Sala Tha Loi Pier Meeting Room. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Nopparat Sriphrom, Sriracha District Chief.
During the meeting, Mayor Chatchai officially introduced the Sala Tha Loi Pier and the Skywalk construction project at Koh Loi. This project aims to create a new landmark to promote tourism in Chonburi Province. The initiative is expected to generate great income for the local community and stimulate the tourism economy, aligning with overall government policy, according to Chatchai.
The project is still early in development and exact details and timelines are not fully released to the media, notes The Pattaya News.
This also isn’t the only skywalk project that has been discussed, as Pattaya has considered for several years a skywalk at Bali Hai Pier, but for now the project couldn’t even be considered as beyond preliminary proposals and soft discussions.
