Pattaya City Finishes Roadwork in Front of Walking Street in One Day

Pattaya-

Earning praise on social media and silencing critics, Pattaya City finished roadwork that blocked a lane at the traffic heavy and popular entrance of Walking Street in only ONE day.

The project, which was to fix some electrical issues, had been debated heavily between the Provincial Electric Authority and Pattaya City officials prior to the project with the city keenly aware of the importance of this area and past protests by business owners when roadwork had lasted too long.

We had previously reported on the start of the project, which caused significant debate on social media, here.

Credit where it’s due, however, the city finished the project in only one day, alleviating traffic concerns in the local area. The project did, however, cause many people online to ask how this could be finished so quickly when other areas have been under construction for months, like significant portions of Jomtien Beach.

According to the city, however, the scope of those projects are much more intense than a simple electrical project on Pattaya Beach.
