Fruit Vendor Urges Pattaya Police to Catch Thief

Pattaya —

A fruit vendor in Pattaya is pleading for police action after a thief stole money from her shop for the second time.

On August 21st, 2024, Ms. Somporn Phetnak, a 39-year-old fruit vendor in Naklua Soi 16, provided CCTV footage to The Pattaya News team. The clip shows a thief who stole money from her shop.

Ms. Somporn explained that she has been selling fruit in Naklua Soi 16 for several years without any incidents. She sells fruit all day, even into the evening. However, last month, someone stole a basket full of coins that she had hidden away. The incident was captured on CCTV, but unfortunately, the thief’s face was not visible.

Yesterday, the same thing happened again. The thief stole only the basket of coins and left the fruit and other items untouched. Ms. Somporn decided to release the CCTV footage on social media, hoping it would help identify the thief. She also urged the police to pursue the perpetrator and bring them to justice.
