Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality Hosts Meeting on 2024 Local Development Plan

Banglamung District– On August 19th, 2024, the Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality convened a significant meeting to discuss the local development plan for the fiscal year 2024. The meeting, held at the Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality Office, was presided over by Mr. Narongrit Prasitthinak, Acting Mayor of Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality.

The event saw the participation of key figures including Mr. Songwut Prakoptham, Chairman of the Takhian Tia Subdistrict Municipality Council, Ms. Kantpannee Phonphuengklan, Permanent Secretary of the Municipality, heads of government agencies, municipal council members, and the committee responsible for the municipal development plan.

The primary focus of the meeting was to draft the 5-year local development plan (2023-2027) for the fiscal year 2024, incorporating additional changes (version 5). The discussions centered around various project plans and strategic initiatives across five key areas, all aligned with the principles of good governance as outlined by the municipality’s executives. The policies aim to comprehensively address all aspects of development with the people’s welfare as the core principle.

Key strategies discussed included infrastructure construction, public utilities, and public services. Specific projects highlighted were the construction and improvement of traffic and transportation systems to meet standards. The industrial and civil engineering plans featured prominently, with 18 projects including reinforced concrete road construction and asphalt concrete road improvement, amounting to a total budget of 14,060,000 baht.

Additionally, the meeting summarized plans for expanding the electricity distribution system for housing, supported by the Provincial Electricity Authority, Pattaya City Branch, with a budget of 2,157,197.41 baht.

Participants, including public meeting attendees and educational institution directors, also presented proposals for improving alley roads and enhancing traffic safety for students in the community.

The meeting underscored the municipality’s commitment to strategic and inclusive development, ensuring that all projects align with the overarching goal of enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Takhian Tia Subdistrict.
