Sri Racha, August 8th, 2024–
Ban Sri Maharaj Municipality School in the Sri Racha District held a heartfelt ceremony to honor Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother on the occasion of her upcoming 92nd birthday anniversary, which falls on August 12th. The event was presided over by Ms. Kanwan Temiyasorn, Deputy Mayor of Sri Racha Municipality.
The ceremony began with the opening of a flower tray, incense sticks, and candles. Ms. Temiyasorn laid a floral tray, offered royal offerings, and delivered a sermon in front of the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother. The event was attended by Mr. Sakanwut Setthikamol, the school director, along with the school’s executives, teachers, and students.
The participants gathered to offer merit and honor Her Majesty, reflecting on her immense contributions to the Thai people. Her Royal Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother is revered for her dedication to royal duties, which have greatly benefited the nation. She is also celebrated as a model of living according to the Sufficiency Economy philosophy.

The event also aimed to promote gratitude among the youth towards their parents.
