Sri Racha –
In a collaborative effort between Sriracha Municipality, Phyathai Sriracha Hospital, and Sawangboriboon Foundation Learning Center in Pattaya, a village doctor training project was successfully organized. The event, held on August 2nd, 2024 at the Pacific Hall in Pacific Park Sriracha Shopping Mall, aimed to enhance health and safety awareness in the community.
**Key Highlights:**
– **Opening Ceremony:** Mr. Prapass Charoensantisuk, Deputy Mayor of Sriracha Municipality, presided over the opening ceremony. The project was carried out under the royal wish of His Royal Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great.
– **Wellness City Initiative:** Inspired by Mayor Chatchai Timkrajang’s vision, Sriracha Municipality is striving to become a “wellness city.” The project focuses on improving overall health and resilience while preventing loss.
– **Training Content:** The training covered essential topics such as first aid and basic life support, following international standards. Participants learned how to respond to choking incidents and provide basic wound care.
– **Attendance:** Over 200 individuals participated in the training, including rescue personnel, representatives from private sector agencies, and students from Sriracha District.
This initiative reflects Sriracha’s commitment to community well-being and preparedness. By equipping village doctors with essential skills, the municipality aims to create a safer and healthier environment for its residents.
