Pattaya and Banglamung Residents Pay Respect to His Royal Majesty the King in Honor of His 72nd Birthday

Several residents from Pattaya and Banglamung district gathered at the Banglamung District Office yesterday, July 28th, to pay respect to His Royal Majesty the King in honor of his 72nd birthday.

The gathering, presided over by Banglamung district chief Mr. Weekit Manarojkit, featured alms offered to 73 monks. Apart from the general public, several government officials, local administrative organizations, police officers and village chiefs also attended the ceremony, all wearing yellow shirts, the king’s color, to pay their respects.

King Vajiralongkorn was born on Monday, July 28th, 1952, and ascended to the throne on December 1st, 2016, following his late father. He has expressed his commitment to continuing the royal tradition by stating, “We will continue, preserve, and advance the throne with virtue for the benefit and happiness of the people forever.”
