Community Members Unite for Big Cleaning Day in Pattaya

Pattaya, July 28, 2024— On the auspicious occasion of His Royal Majesty King Rama X’s 72nd birthday, community members from Wat Chong Lom and Na Kluea Old Market joined forces with Pattaya City School 2 (Charoen Rat Uthit) for a meaningful Big Cleaning Day.

The event, presided over by Mr. Banlue Kullawanich, Chairman of the Pattaya City Council, and Mrs. Phisamai Promchat, president of the Chong Lom Temple community, aimed to promote unity and cooperation. Over 200 students from Pattaya City School 2 actively participated in cleaning public areas and creating a cleaner environment.

The five groups focused on different locations: Group 1 within the Wat Chong Lom area, Group 2 around the Wat Chong Lom community, Group 3 at Chao Por Sri Nil Public Park, Group 4 at Saphan Yao Na Kluea Canal, and Group 5 in Khlong Nokyang (Soi Phong Phet).

This collaborative effort not only honored His Royal Majesty’s birthday but also emphasized the importance of community involvement in maintaining a pristine environment.
