Pattaya —

Thai and foreign tourists flocked to Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya today, July 22nd, during the long Buddhist Lent holiday.

This morning, local media reported a crowded atmosphere at Bali Hai Pier in South Pattaya, as Thailand is celebrating the Buddhist Lent holiday over the past several days. It appears that Pattaya’s tourist island of Koh Larn remains one of the top choices for both international and domestic tourists, as large groups of visitors queued up to board passenger boats and speedboats to enjoy their holiday on the island.

To provide convenience, officials from the Pattaya branch of the Marine Department Region 6 deployed staff to enforce regulations at the pier, including the requirement to wear life jackets throughout their journey to the island. The officials’ presence also added to the overall safety image of Pattaya City.
