Pattaya, Thailand–
Nong Nooch Tropical Gardens Pattaya, under the leadership of Mr. Kamphon Tansajja, is hosting a grand and magnificent candle procession named the “Buddhist Siam Ngamwithi Procession.” This spectacular event will take place from July 20th to the 22nd, 2024, and promises to be a visual feast for both Thai and foreign tourists.
The procession features an impressive lineup of 70 performers and 40 elephants, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Visitors can look forward to experiencing the vibrant candle procession activities during the Buddhist Lent, which will include musical performances, contemporary Thai dance, and a special performance by Nong Chang Rua in front of Wiwat Restaurant.
Nong Nooch Tropical Garden Pattaya has a long-standing tradition of organizing activities related to Buddhism.
Over the past week, the garden held a candle casting ceremony for nine temples, creating candles to be offered to nearby temples in Pattaya. This initiative aims to honor Buddha and invites all Buddhists to participate in making merit on these important Buddhist days.
This event is a unique opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Thailand and witness the grandeur of the candle procession at Nong Nooch Tropical Garden Pattaya.
