Late last night, at approximately 11:30 p.m., an electrical transformer explosion caused chaos in a luxury condominium in Pattaya. A young female foreign tourist found themselves trapped inside an elevator for over 20 minutes as a result of the incident.

The condominium, located in Soi 16, Na Kluea, Banglamung District, Chonburi Province, has a total of eight floors. Residents and condo officials rallied to assist the stranded tourist, working diligently to pry open the elevator door on the ground floor. Inside the elevator was a young female tourist, about 25-30 years old.
Officials had promptly arrived at the scene, equipped with pry tools and fans to ventilate the elevator. They also provided much-needed drinking water to the distressed tourists. The power outage throughout the entire condo complex was attributed to a nearby transformer explosion, which had sparked a fire in the wires. Condo employees had already contacted electrical and fire officials for assistance.
After assessing the situation, the officials successfully rescued the trapped tourist. Grateful and relieved, the tourist, whose name was not disclosed, expressed their thanks to the quick response of the authorities.
