Pattaya –

A Thai woman has sustained injuries after she was allegedly attacked by an Indian national in Pattaya on Saturday (July 6th).

The Pattaya City Police were notified of the incident at 2:50 A.M. on Pattaya Beach Road near Soi 13/1 in Nongprue. Emergency responders, police, and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene in front of a convenience store.

The injured woman, who also appeared to be intoxicated, Ms. Natthawadee Mueanthawong, 20, had sustained face injuries. She was taken to a nearby hospital.

Ms. Korrapin, 22, a witness who did not give her full name to the press, told Pattaya police that she saw the injured woman, who was bleeding heavily from her face, run from the direction of Pattaya Beach shouting for help. The victim said that she was attacked by an Indian national but did not explain what led to the attack, if she knew the suspect, or if there had been a prior dispute.
