Pattaya Police Conduct Major Inspection in Entertainment District, Ensuring Tourist Safety, No Illegal Activities Found

At 9:06 PM, on June 28th, 2024, over 50 officers from Pattaya City police and relevant agencies inspected an entertainment district in Pattaya City to ensure tourist safety and suppress crime.

In Soi LK, Bua Khao, South Pattaya, officers checked ID cards of bar patrons and employees from various entertainment venues, conducted drug tests, and searched for illegal firearms and other prohibited items. No illegal activities or substances were found.

This inspection followed an incident where a “Tuk Tuk” club manager was fatally stabbed by a bartender in Soi LK. The Tuk Tuk club remains closed.

Pattaya officials have urged all entertainment providers to act responsibly, ensure patron safety, and report any illegal activities or substances to local police for immediate action.
