23-Year-Old Man Falls from Pattaya Hotel, Police Investigate

At 9:36 AM on June 1st, 2024, Pattaya City police received a report of a person falling from a six-story hotel in Soi Pattaya 5, Banglamung, Chonburi.

Pattaya police, along with the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Foundation, arrived at the scene and found the body of a 23-year-old Thai man only identified as Sahatsawat in the parking lot, causing panic among visitors. Officers covered the body with a white sheet and cordoned off the area to prevent interference.

According to unidentified hotel staff, Sahatsawat had checked in on the fifth floor on May 31st and was due to check out on June 1st. However, it was unclear from which floor he fell.
Pattaya police are currently reviewing CCTV footage to determine the exact cause of the incident.

It was unclear as of press time if the incident was an accident or otherwise.
