The police emphasized the necessity for rental motorbike operators to check tourists’ driving licenses before providing services. Additionally, they reiterated that both Thai and foreign tourists must always be provided helmets while riding.
Hotel and accommodation operators were instructed to stop providing rental golf carts to tourists due to potential safety risks and unfamiliarity with the island’s routes.
However, hotel operators can continue to use golf carts for their own transportation needs.
The Pattaya City police prioritize tourist safety and aim to enhance security measures to ensure a positive experience for visitors.
