Sattahip —

A fire ripped through a luxury two-story clubhouse located in Na Jomtien, Sattahip district, Chonburi province, on May 13th. Damages were estimated at millions of baht.

The incident occurred yesterday at around 12:30 PM. Na Jomtien fire fighters and emergency responders rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze.

There, authorities saw the fire engulfing the second floor of the luxurious two-story clubhouse located on the roadside. The second floor of the clubhouse was a storage room containing documents and mattresses. These items acted as fuel for the flames, causing the fire to spread quickly, according to firefighters. It took firefighters over an hour to contain the blaze.

Workers who witnessed the incident reported that the fire might have been caused by an electrical short circuit. The extent of the damage was estimated to be in the millions of baht, though a final assessment is pending.
