4,000 People from 30 Countries Attend Successful Pattaya Bikini Beach Race

The coastal city of Pattaya witnessed a spectacular event as over 4,000 enthusiastic runners from 30 different countries gathered along the picturesque shores for the ‘Pattaya International Bikini Beach Race’.

The event, held on October 28th, 2023, marked the seventh consecutive year of this sizzling beachside race, organized by Pattaya City, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Central Pattaya shopping center.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Poramase Ngampiches, Mayor of Pattaya, who extended a warm welcome to the 4,000 bikini-clad runners. Also in attendance were notable figures including Mr. Niti Wiwatwanich, Deputy Governor of Chonburi and Ms. Suphaporn Seniwong, Deputy Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand (Pattaya Office), along with other distinguished guests, celebrities, and radiant models.

Mr. Poramase expressed his excitement for the event, highlighting that the bikini beach race was the largest and most sensational beachside race in Thailand. The 5-kilometer race offered prizes worth over 300,000 baht in total, divided into six categories, including top male and female finishers, best-looking runners, and even awards for the most stylish bikini team and fanciest costume.

This year’s race aimed to promote sports tourism and attract both local and international tourists to Pattaya, contributing to the economic revitalization of the region. The event succeeded in positioning Pattaya as a premier destination for tourism, drawing the attention of more than 4,000 runners from around the globe, said Mr. Poramase.

As the sun set on this extraordinary event, Pattaya had not only witnessed an incredible display of athleticism but had also made a powerful statement about its place on the global stage. The Pattaya International Bikini Beach Race is more than a glamorous race; it’s also a celebration of unity, diversity, and the spirit of adventure.
