Pattaya City is partnering with the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) to host the Pattaya Beach Talent Showband 2023 music tournament on Pattaya Beach.
The event will take place from August 4th to 5th 2023. It will feature a showcase of musical talents by the Beach Talent Showband (BTS) and a team competition for brass wind instrument ensembles called Brass Theater Battles (BTB).
Mr. Kritsana Bunsawat, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, said he has invited 11 renowned bands from across the country to compete in this tournament. Each band will battle against each other to add vibrancy to Pattaya Beach.
The aim is to impress both Thai locals and international tourists who love marching bands, in order to promote tourism in Pattaya, Mr. Kritsana said.
TPN media notes that the event was a huge tourist hit in 2022 and is expected to be so this year in its second appearance.
