Pattaya Mayor Poramase Ngamphichet met with the Swing LGBTQ+ group on May 30th, to discuss the preparation of the Pattaya Community Pride 2023 parade on June 10th.
The meeting took place at Pattaya City Hall. The non-profit Swing group met with Poramase to discuss security and necessary facilities for the parade preparations.
The Pattaya Community Pride parade will take place on June 10th from 3 PM to 6 PM along Jomtien Beach, starting at Chaiyapruek Intersection and concluding at Jomtien Complex, covering a distance of 3.5 kilometers.
The Swing group said the purpose of the event was to symbolically demonstrate support for diversity and promote gender equality in society. The event also aimed to stimulate tourism in Pattaya.
Central Mall and Marina are also set to celebrate pride events throughout this month.
