Indian Tourist Finds a Dead Body in Central Pattaya

Pattaya —

A body of an unidentified man was discovered by a foreign tourist in Central Pattaya early this morning.

On June 4th after Midnight, Pattaya Police responded to a report of a body being found in front of a building on Pattaya Klang Road in the Nongprue sub-district of Banglamung district, Chonburi province, and travelled to the scene along with Sawang Boriboon rescuers.

At the building, police found the lifeless body of an unidentified man, estimated to be between 30-40 years old, lying in the front courtyard of a travel and tour business. He was wearing a gray shirt and navy blue shorts. A water bottle and a bag of bread was found nearby. Upon inspection, no signs of foul play or evidence of violence were detected, according to police.

In an interview with the Indian tourist who spotted the body, Mr. Uddin Moh Gias, 42, he said he noticed the deceased regularly sitting at this spot a few days ago. He was also spotted lingering at this spot on yesterday’s evening until he was found dead in today’s early hours.

The man looked like a homeless person, Mr. Uddin said. His body was transported to a nearby hospital.

Mr. Uddin said he was shocked by the discovery but immediately called police for assistance.
