More Than 40 Homes Damaged in Bangkok Fire

Bangkok –

More than 40 homes were damaged after an early morning fire in the Thon Buri district.

The Talat Phlu Police were notified of the fire on Wednesday morning (May 24th) on the Wutthakat Road in Talat Phlu. Firefighters with fire engines from nearby areas arrived at the scene in two small Sois to find the fire was heavily ablaze. It took about an hour to control the fire.

Local residents were seen by witnesses escaping from their houses. More than 40 homes, many composed of wood, were reported damaged from the fire. No injuries or deaths were reported.

The exact cause of the fire is still being investigated by the Forensic Police.
