Pattaya to Spend 8.8 Million Baht Building Walkway Roof at Bali Hai Pier for Tourists

Pattaya —

The Pattaya City council on Monday, May 22nd, approved a budget of 8,850,000 baht to build a roof to cover the Bali Hai Pier walkway.

The project is aimed at facilitating a large number of tourists, residents, and students who wished to use a ferry service to get from Pattaya to Koh Larn or vice versa on a daily basis, according to the announcement.

It would help provide shade in hot weather during the waiting, the announcement said, as well as helped to build a positive image for the city. The approved budget is 8,850,000 baht, though no exact starting or completion date has been given in the announcement.
