Photo Tour: Bustling Early Voting in Chonburi

As many as 40,000 people attended Thailand’s advance voting in Chonburi yesterday, May 7th.

The atmosphere of the early voting both in and outside of the polling station was quite hectic, with heavy traffic congestion on routes to the election site and large crowds of voters.

About 40,000 people in Chonburi had registered to cast their votes before the official election date of May 14th. Some told us that they wanted to avoid the wait and the crazy heat. Let’s scroll down to see what the atmosphere looked like in pictures!
