Pattaya Music Teacher Seriously Injured After His Vehicle Collides with a Pickup Truck

A music teacher suffered serious injuries after his BMW was rammed into by a pickup truck while emerging from an alley in Pattaya.

The accident took place at 05:30 AM today, April 26th, on Sukhumvit Road inbound to Sattahip.

The victim, Mr. Chakkrit Juthawipat, 33, a Thai music teacher, was assisted by Sawang Boriboon rescue workers. He drove a BMW sedan, which was crushed in the middle by a pickup truck while emerging from an alley.

Chakkrit sustained severe injuries and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital. The driver of the pickup truck, Mr. Sompan Thongchan, 55, was not injured in the accident. He provided an interview to The Pattaya News, stating that the victim had suddenly emerged from the alley and he was unable to apply the brakes in time, resulting in the collision.

Pattaya Police is reviewing CCTV recordings to establish the exact cause of the accident.
