Hundreds of Tourists Join Wan Lai Songkran ‘Tipsy Tubing’ Event in Pai

More than 500 foreign tourists joined in a two-day Wan Lai Songkran ‘Tipsy Tubing’ event in Pai held by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

The event was held on April 20th to April 21st by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). The director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Mae Hong Son Office (TAT Mae Hong Son) Mr. Panuwat Katnark told Thai media.

More than 500 foreign tourists joined the event at Pai Bridge. They enjoyed many activities such as concerts, dancing, water splashing, water tunnels, local sports, and local food. The highlight of the event is the famous Tipsy Tubing along the Pai River. This activity has boosted local tourism and the economy.

According to organizers this will likely become an annual event during Songkran.
