Pattaya Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries After Reportedly Turning Without Looking Properly

Pattaya —

A Thai motorcyclist suffered serious injuries this morning after he reportedly made a turn without looking properly.

Sawang Boriboon rescuers assisted a Thai man, 25-year-old Mr. Nopparat Puangthip, who had crashed his motorbike into a car while traveling to grab his breakfast at 7:30 AM, today, April 18th.

The man was found lying on the road on Soi Nern Plub Wan in Pattaya, Banglamung District, Chonburi. He had suffered a large laceration on the right temple and a bone fracture on his right arm. However, Mr. Nopparat was still conscious and able to converse.

Nopparat told The Pattaya News that he was riding his motorbike to his favorite fried pork shop. While he was attempting to turn into the shop, he said his vehicle was hit forcefully by a sedan, causing it to fall over.

Mr. Nopparat then landed on the ground and got injured. He was transferred to Banglamung Hospital.

The Pattaya News interviewed with the involved sedan driver, 50-year-old Mrs. Chotika Srisawat, and learned that Mr. Nopparat reportedly made a sudden turn in front of her sedan. She said she was lucky that she did not get wounded.

Pattaya Police will summon the two parties for questioning later at the Pattaya police station.
