The record was officially set on April 12th, 2023 at Legend Siam Pattaya. Mrs. Siriya Thepcharoen, President of Nusa Legend Siam Pattaya Co., Ltd, told The Pattaya News that the event was part of the “Thailand Showroom” project, an effort to create a sustainable community by showcasing local wisdom and traditions from every province in Thailand through art, culture, costumes, and products.

This event aimed to promote Thai culture and products worldwide, featuring the best of Thailand’s 77 provinces. It also included the Guinness Book World Records-breaking ceremony for the most simultaneous Thai traditional wai, with over 500 participants, to demonstrate the uniqueness of Thai culture and welcome visitors to Thailand.

Legend Siam Pattaya is also currently hosting the Rolling Loud Thailand, the ultimate hip-hop music extravaganza in Pattaya that will last until April 15th.
