Sri Racha Woman Dies in Motorbike Crash, Her Daughter Survives With Serious Injuries

A 41-year-old mother tragically passed away after she drove her motorbike into a power pole. Her pillion riding daughter survived the crash but suffered serious injuries.

Nongkham Police and emergency responders yesterday, March 8th, responded to a fatal traffic accident in the Nongkham sub-district of Sri Racha district, Chonburi. On the road, the authorities found two female victims identified as Ms. Potjaman Chuklin, 41, and her 7-year-old daughter.

The two were unresponsive and sustained severe injuries. Potjaman, whose Honda Wave 110i motorbike was found fallen nearby, suffered facial wounds and bleeding. The rescuers provided her with life-saving CPR, but they were unsuccessful. Her daughter also received CPR and was rushed to the nearest hospital. She was alive and was obtaining close medical attention, local media reported.

According to an eyewitness to the accident, Ms. Jim Srisuwan, the victim was driving her motorbike at high speed. She then ploughed into a power pole and was hurled onto the ground with her daughter.

The victim’s body was transported to a local hospital to wait for religious rites.
