Pattaya Man Nabbed for Carrying Gun in Public

Pattaya Police searched what they said was a suspicious looking man and found a gun on his person. The man was arrested.

The man was identified as 35-year-old Mr. Uthit Somwang. Pattaya Police disclosed to The Pattaya News that they ran into him in the Nong Pla Lai sub-district of Banglamung district, at 4 PM on February 22nd.

The police stated Uthit was riding a motorbike and looked somewhat suspicious. The authorities then asked to search him and found a hand-made gun on him.

The man was taken to the Banglamung police station for questioning. He was charged with carrying a gun in public without permission.
