A team of Banglamung officers led by the district chief Mr. Pisit Sitisawatnukun and the Pattaya City Police raided a host bar called Dragon in Soi Pattaya Klang 12 at 3:30 A.M. on Thursday (February 16th).

Mr. Pisit told the Pattaya News that illegal drugs were found on the floor, in bins, and with staff. Many used condoms were reportedly found on the floor and in staff dressing rooms. Fourteen men and one woman were also found positive for drugs in urine tests and were arrested and taken to the Pattaya Police Station.

The host bar was open illegally, Pisit added, and they were unable to present their license. The host bar was also open after the legal closing time of 2:00 A.M.. The manager, who was not identified, was taken to Pattaya City Police Station.

It will be suggested to the Chonburi governor by Pisit that the venue be considered for a five year closure.
