Dead Green Sea Turtle Washes Ashore in Sattahip

Sattahip, Chonburi —

A carcass of a green sea turtle was washed ashore on Bang Saray Beach in Chonburi’s Sattahip district on Saturday, February 11th.

The turtle weighed about five kilograms, Sattahip rescue workers told local media. It was found on Bang Saray Beach in the Bang Saray sub-district by tourists.

The sex of the green turtle and its cause of death remain unknown as of press time. Rescue workers transported the carcass to a rescue center to determine the exact cause of its death.
