Pattaya mayor Poramase Ngampiches happily welcomed the new chief of the Pattaya police station.
Poramase on Monday, February 6th, met and handed a gift to Pol. Col. Thanapong Phothi, the new Pattaya police captain who had recently been appointed to the station on February 1st.
The mayor congratulated Thanapong. He consulted with the new chief on several issues, including prioritizing the safety of residents and tourists.
Thanapong said he was determined to uphold the law and support the policy of the mayor, adding he would make the city live up to its reputation as a world-class tourist destination.
