A 25-year-old woman was trapped in her overturned sedan after colliding with a stationary vehicle in Pattaya.
The accident happened today, January 1st, at 04:30 AM on Pattaya Third Road. Sawang Boriboon rescuers rescued a female victim, Ms. Bongkocharat Uamthon, from her white Nissan Almera sedan that overturned beside a white MG vehicle.
Rescuers told The Pattaya News that the woman was not injured but was shocked by the accident. Her car, on the other hand, was completely ruined by the collision.
Another woman, 26-year-old Ms. Waranya Nimcharoenpong, who drove the MG sedan, told The Pattaya News she was napping in her car parked on the roadside. She then felt a bump and woke up to find the overturned sedan beside her car. Ms. Waranya said she was slightly injured by the accident.
Pattaya police took the woman who caused the collision to the police station to test for alcohol.
