Japanese man crashes brand-new sedan into street barrier in Sri Racha

Sri Racha, Chonburi —

A 50-year-old Japanese man suffered a minor head wound after he crashed his brand-new sedan into a street barrier in Sri Racha, Chonburi.

Sri Racha rescuers could not identify the victim, who could not speak Thai, but said he was Japanese and aged 50 years old. The victim rammed his flashy white Toyota Yaris ATIV sedan into a street barrier at 8 PM yesterday, December 25th.

His sedan rested on top of the barrier located on a road leading to Laem Chabang port in Si Racha. Its front windshield was destroyed along with the front bumper. The car also toppled a street sign. The rescuers administered basic medical assistance to the victim’s head wounds and transferred him to Sri Racha Hospital.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage in the area to see what caused the collision.
