Thailand wins in Riyadh 2022 World Taekwondo Grand Prix Final

A Thai female taekwondo expert won in the Riyadh 2022 World Taekwondo Grand Prix Final in Saudi Arabia.

Anucha Burapachaisri, a Thai Government Spokesperson stated, yesterday (December 10th) Panipak ‘Tennis’ Wongpattanakit won in the 49 kilograms category. She beat her opponent from Turkey 2:0. The Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha congratulates Ms. Panipak for her success.”

Tennis and Italian Simone Alessio won top prizes at the World Taekwondo’s 2022 Gala Awards. Both won Grand Prix titles and followed up with Female Athlete of the Year and Male Athlete of the Year.

Moreover Tennis won Manchester and Paris Grand Prixs, the overall title, a Southeast Asian Games gold medal in Hanoi and a World Championship bronze in Guadalajara.

She is also a two-time Olympic medallist and the reigning women’s under-49 kilograms champion.

Phuket island has welcomed gold medalist Panipak “Tennis” Wongpattanakit, her coach Choi Young-Seok, and the team of athletes, trainers, and executives from the Taekwondo Association of Thailand who arrived at Phuket International Airport on July 26th last year.
