UPDATE: Police place 50,000 baht bounty on gold shop robber in Pattaya

Pattaya —

  Pattaya police have placed a 50,000 baht bounty on a robber who stole gold necklaces worth nearly one million baht from the Aurora gold shop a few weeks ago.

Our previous story:

A gun-wielding robber robbed a Pattaya gold shop and swept around one million baht worth of gold jewelry before fleeing.

Now for our update:

The suspect, who still cannot be identified as of press time, used a Double Bell 723 BB gun to rob the Aurora gold shop on November 9th at 8 PM, according to Pattaya police. The shop was located in Tesco Lotus in South Pattaya.

Police said the suspect was a man standing about 170 cm tall. He rode a black Honda Wave 125i motorbike without side mirrors and a license plate. The police said people who could provide useful information that led to the suspect’s arrest would be rewarded with 50,000 baht.
