Two people injured after pickup truck accident in Sattahip, driver blames wet road

Sattahip –

Two people have sustained injuries after a pickup truck accident in Sattahip. The driver claimed a wet road caused the accident.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident this afternoon (November 30th) on 332 Road in Bang Saray. They and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a pickup truck on the side of the road. The driver, Mr. Kanueng Limchai, 47, and his passenger Mrs. Sangwan Detnonsang, 48, had sustained various injuries. They were both taken to a local hospital.

Kanueng told the Pattaya News that there was heavy rain and a wet road with some water on the road surface.

Water from the road splashed from another vehicle before he lost control and ran into a small pool of water on the road and lost control of his vehicle. Kanueng denied responsibility for the accident and said the rain and other vehicle splashing water on his car caused the accident. He claimed authorities should “do something” about wet roads without clarification.

Sattahip police did not immediately announce what legal charges, if any, would be filed.
