Pattaya –

The Na Ban Pier on Koh Larn will get a huge renovation with a 200 million baht budget to boost Pattaya tourism and support the EEC (Eastern Economic Corridor) project.

The Pattaya Marine Office Chief Mr. Eakkarat Kantharoe told the Pattaya News “The project is to renovate the Na Ban Pier. The project has passed the initial government Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).”

“More than a two hundred million baht budget will be given for this project in 2024. The renovation is expected to take about three years. The pier renovation will be in a T shape which can support bigger boats with 300 seats as well as smaller boats and speed boats,” Mr. Eakkarat explained.

The renovation project is aimed to boost Pattaya and to support the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) project which aims to improve the infrastructure of the Eastern provinces, especially the Pattaya area,” Mr. Eakkarat added.

As noted, the project isn’t set to begin for over a year, however.
