Girlfriend sets her boyfriend’s Pattaya rental room on fire after jealous fit

Banglamung –

A young woman reportedly set a fire in her boyfriend’s rental room after she accused him of having an affair with another woman in the Pattaya area.

The Nongprue Police was notified of the incident at 1:30 A.M. (November 26th) at a rental room on Phon Prapa Nimit Road in Nongprue.

Police, fire fighters with multiple fire engines, and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find smoke pouring out from the room. It took ten minutes to control the fire. The room was damaged but the fire did not spread to other rooms.

Mr. Sakchai Kraithong, 33, told The Pattaya News, “My girlfriend, Ms. Donlaya Nalee, 25, who was intoxicated, set the fire. She was angry and jealous of me allegedly having an affair with another woman. She could not control herself before she destroyed the room and attacked me. She set fire to the bed which then spread through the room.”

Sakchai declined to comment on if the allegations of an affair were true or not.

Ms. Donlaya was taken to the Nongprue Police Station to sober up and calm down before Nongprue police consider legal charges.
