Dilapidated boardwalk on South Pattaya Beach prompts safety concerns again

Pattaya —

Pattaya residents and tourists urge relevant authorities to repair the dilapidated boardwalk on South Pattaya Beach.

The boardwalk is located near the King Rama IX Sailing Club Monument in Banglamung, Chonburi.

The boardwalk is currently deteriorating as its foundation is wobbly and sinking into the sand, and many planks are missing or have holes in them, according to The Pattaya News reporters.

Tourists and residents are concerned about the boardwalk’s safety and demand immediate repair, citing that many people have to use it, especially during the coming Pattaya International Fireworks Festival due on November 25th and 26th.

The poor condition of the broadway has been a matter of criticism since the last month.
