Fire guts overhead wires again in Pattaya

Pattaya —

A mess of entangled overhead wires caught fire for the second time this week in Pattaya.

The fire occurred on Soi Nong Yai in Pattaya, Chonburi, just after sunrise this morning, November 18th. It happened near Mueang Pattaya School, but thanks to the firefighters, the flames were quickly extinguished and nobody was hurt.

The alley was temporarily closed to traffic as specialists and Deputy Mayor Manoch Nongyai were inspecting the wires. The cause of the incident was not reported, but this is the second time that wires suddenly burst into flames this week in Pattaya.
