Surat Thani –

A French man has gone missing from a resort in Surat Thani.

Yesterday (November 15th) a resort owner went to the Phanom Police Station in the Phanom district. She told police that on November 11th, Mr. Gollino Cyrit Tizzlano, French national, aged around 30, checked into the Khao Sok Holiday Inn resort which is located in the Khao Sok sub-district. He was going to checkout on November 14th. He asked the resort owner about tourism attractions but refused to buy a tour package from the resort.

On November 12th at 10:00 A.M. Mr. Tizzlano had breakfast at the resort. He talked with the resort owner about going for a walk in a nearby forest. He was not seen since and on November 14th he had not checked out. His belongings and ID are still in his room and he only took his mobile phone when he left the resort.

A search was launched by the Pha Nom District Chief and relevant officers.

This is a developing story.
