French man missing in Surat Thani

Surat Thani –

A French man has gone missing from a resort in Surat Thani.

Yesterday (November 15^th) a resort owner went to the Phanom Police Station in the Phanom district. She told police that on November 11^th, Mr. Gollino Cyrit Tizzlano, French national, aged around 30, checked into the Khao Sok Holiday Inn resort which is located in the Khao Sok sub-district. He was going to checkout on November 14^th. He asked the resort owner about tourism attractions but refused to buy a tour package from the resort.

On November 12^th at 10:00 A.M. Mr. Tizzlano had breakfast at the resort. He talked with the resort owner about going for a walk in a nearby forest. He was not seen since and on November 14^th he had not checked out. His belongings and ID are still in his room and he only took his mobile phone when he left the resort.

A search was launched by the Pha Nom District Chief and relevant officers.
